This qualification reflects the roles of training developers and instructional designers who are responsible for analysing training needs and designing training solutions and products to meet workplace capability requirements, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.

PRE REQUISITES

Entrants to the Diploma must have the core units of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or be able to demonstrate equivalent competence

ABOUT RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning)

Recognition of Prior Learning is the way that the knowledge and skills that you have attained through your work and life experience are recognised so that you can be issued with a nationally recognised qualification.

However , RPL is not a guarantee that you will obtain the qualification.  It is a process of gathering evidence.  Your assessor checks the evidence at each stage in the process and once they have sufficient evidence they can assess you as competent.  If the assessor realises the evidence is insufficient and find gaps, the assessor will need to conduct gap training with you.

SCILI has a RPL eligibility form for you to complete, once received we will give you a quotation in writing prior to your enrollment.

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Enquire to SCILI and ask for the RPL Application for TAE50216.
  2. Submit the application.
  3. SCILI staff will notify you the possibility of RPL and Gap training with the cost.
  4. If you agree, the required RPL fee is to be sent to SCILI.
  5. We will discuss the plan and send the candidate guide for you to start.
  6. Your assessor and SCILI office staff will mentor you all the  way through.
